about me

For as long as I could remember, fashion and its' art had always been a very large passion of mine. I remember holding my rainbow striped notebook in first grade, sharing with the class the pages that were alive with swirls and strokes from big fancy dresses and outfits I drew from my wildest imaginations. Being a designer is not a choice, it is a feeling that you are drawn to since the very beginning. This feeling is what motivates me to captivate the goals that I have set for myself since childhood. Everyday, I work to make the little girl drawing in her rainbow striped notebook proud.

Having a strong passion for fashion meant it was only natural for me to work towards pursing a career in the fashion industry. I am a student at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, studying Consumer Apparel and Retail Studies, with a concentration in Apparel Product Design. I took part in Apparel Design throughout my high school years, participated in the STEP program at NC State, as well as many other experiences to contribute to developing my apparel design experience.  I am very passionate about learning wherever I can, and as much as I can throughout my developing career.

Throughout my time learning, I have developed experience using different technologies such as, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, V-Stitcher, CLO, Canva, Microsoft Office, and more.

Apart from my passion for fashion, I also enjoy spending my time gardening, doing yoga, reading, painting, knitting/crocheting, writing, spending time in nature, volunteering at the animal shelter, music, and so much more (I enjoy a little bit of everything).
